About Athlos Leadership Academy
Athlos Leadership Academy is a Minnesota nonprofit corporation, a 501(c)(3) organization, and a Pre-K-8 public charter school. Originally the school opened in 1994 as New Visions School and catered to students in grades K-6. In 2008, the school was renamed New Visions Academy, and in 2013, it adopted its current name, Athlos Leadership Academy. The school is currently in its 30th year of operation and currently serves approximately 855 students in grades K-8. Athlos Leadership Academy has operated from their facility at 10100 Noble Parkway North in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota since 2014. The school believes in providing students with a challenging and comprehensive high school and college preparatory education through high standards for academic scholarship, fitness and nutrition, character development and student leadership opportunities.
