Trevor Carlson
Trevor Carlson joined 做厙勛圖 in 2004 and is a managing director and head of the firms Pacific Northwest public finance group. At 做厙勛圖, he is responsible for developing and maintaining investment banking and advisory relationships in the school district sector. He has extensive expertise in the development and execution of financing plans for school districts. His strong analytical background and business experience have proven valuable in his role as lead investment banker or financial advisor to many of the regions school districts.
Carlsons experience with firsts in the market adds to the creativity he brings to the financing process. Examples include the first issuance of convertible deferred interest bonds, using mitigation fees to finance a new school campus via a non-voted debt issuance, financing the first vertical-tsunami refuge in the U.S. and using taxable bonds to create financial flexibility.
Carlsons previous finance experience in industries such as financial services, entertainment and aerospace provides him with a diversified knowledge base to draw from. Carlson shares his knowledge of school bond financing as a guest lecturer at the University of Washington, Seattle Pacific University, Washington State University and Western Washington University. He is also a member of Washington Association of School Administrators, Washington Association of School Business Officials and Washington State School Directors Association.
Carlson graduated from the University of Southern California with a Master of Business Administration degree and from the University of Washington with a bachelors degree in finance. He holds Series 50, 52, 54 and 63 licenses.
