Tom LaFleur joined °µÍø³Ô¹Ï in 1999 when the firm purchased John Nuveen & Co.’s public finance investment banking division. LaFleur began his investment banking career at John Nuveen in 1993, structuring single family and multifamily tax-exempt and taxable bond issues for state and local housing authorities nationwide. In 2001, he became one of the founding members of the team that created the °µÍø³Ô¹Ï tender option bond program. In 2008, LaFleur joined the firm’s municipal derivatives group.
LaFleur holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a master’s degree in computer science engineering from Stanford University and a master’s degree in management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
