Nick Lawler is a managing director and head of media relations at °µÍø³Ô¹Ï. He is responsible for all aspects of communication with the media and is the primary contact for publications and broadcast networks.

Prior to the merger, he was a managing director and director of communications for Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P. Lawler has significant experience in the financial communications industry. He has provided strategic counsel to a wide variety of financial services companies during his career, including investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, private equity firms and global exchanges.

Before joining Sandler in 2015, Lawler was a senior executive at Intermarket Communications, where he managed accounts for the agency’s leading clients. He began his career at Sard Verbinnen & Co. providing communications support for mergers & acquisitions, management changes, crisis situations and long-term positioning programs. He also spent several years at Burson-Marsteller in the corporate and financial practice, representing large corporations and alternative asset managers.

Lawler received a bachelor’s degree in government and legal studies from Bowdoin College.
