Matthew Lyons
Matthew Lyons is a director in the °µÍø³Ô¹Ï investment banking financial services group, providing capital markets, lending and transactional advisory services to clients in the financial sector. Lyons’ primary focus is on clients within the asset & wealth management, brokerage and financial technology spaces.
Lyons has over seven years of experience in investment banking and 12 years of experience in the financial services industry overall. Previously, Lyons was a member of the Morgan Stanley financial institution investment banking group, focused on clients across depositories, insurance, specialty finance, asset management, financial technology and payments. Prior to that, Lyons had a similar role with the Wells Fargo Securities financial institutions investment banking group. Lyons began his career in the Navigant Consulting financial services group, where he focused on forensic accounting and operational restructuring projects with clients in the depository and specialty finance spaces.
Lyons received a Master of Business Administration degree from Cornell University and has both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in accounting from Lehigh University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the state of Maryland.
