Matt Brom
Matt Brom is a managing director in the °µÍø³Ô¹Ï technology investment banking group, bringing over 15 years of experience in advising companies within the aerospace, defense and government services sectors. He specializes in guiding company owners, management teams and boards of directors through acquisitions, divestitures, public and private equity raises and fairness opinions. His experience includes representing companies with valuations ranging from $10 million to $800 million.
Throughout his career, Brom has advised and closed transactions with many industry leaders and investors, including KBR, Kratos, Elbit Systems, SAIC, Mercury Systems, General Dynamics, Sagewind Capital, DC Capital Partners, OceanSound Partners, Enlightenment Capital, AE Industrial Partners and American Securities, among others. He has worked with companies offering a wide range of products and services, including information technology, data analytics, healthcare IT, cybersecurity, simulation and training, defense technologies, systems engineering, software development, C4ISR and aviation services. His clients span the federal government, from intelligence and defense to civilian and homeland security organizations.
Previously, Brom was a managing director at G Squared Capital Partners, which was acquired by °µÍø³Ô¹Ï in 2025, and previously held leadership roles at multiple investment banking firms. He was a managing director at Clearsight Advisors and previously served as a director at Truist Securities and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where he co-founded the aerospace, defense and government services investment banking group.
Brom earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. He holds the following licenses: FINRA Series 7 (General Securities Representative), NASAA Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law) and FINRA Series 79 (Investment Banking Representative).
