Mark Cantrell is a managing director at °µÍø³Ô¹Ï and co-head of the municipal trading group. His daily trading responsibilities include trading 20 years+ investment grade, airport and healthcare tax-exempt credits. He has served on the firm’s fixed income risk & operating committee.

Cantrell joined °µÍø³Ô¹Ï in 2011, when he opened the firm’s Charlotte office. He also serves on the firm’s fixed income risk & operating committee. Prior to joining the °µÍø³Ô¹Ï, Cantrell was head of municipal trading at BB&T Securities. Prior to that, he worked at Advest, State Street Bank and Interstate/Johnson Lane, where he started his career in 1990.

Cantrell graduated from Georgia State University with a bachelor's degree in finance.
