Jay Hershey is a managing director and oversees the private equity and venture services effort for °µÍø³Ô¹Ï’s corporate & venture services team. Over his 25+ year career at °µÍø³Ô¹Ï, he has worked closely with the firm’s investment banking clients across all °µÍø³Ô¹Ï sectors. He currently leads the team’s effort for the firm’s energy & power, consumer and chemicals sectors.

Hershey’s expertise is in the advisory and execution in selling or acquiring large equity positions including in complex transactions. He is experienced in Rule 144, prospectus resales (including for post-SPAC issuers), Rule 10b-18 for issuers and block trades. He plays a leadership and business development role while helping to establish the corporate & venture services team. Hershey co-founded and since 2001 has been a featured speaker at the Annual °µÍø³Ô¹Ï-Cooley LLC Venture Capital Roundtable. He has also been a speaker at the Practising Law Institute’s (PLI) Advanced Venture Capital programs.

Hershey graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Iowa.
