Daniel Wong
Daniel Wong is a managing director in the debt capital markets group. Wong joined °µÍø³Ô¹Ï in May 2018, and is responsible for originating, structuring, pricing and placing of non-investment grade corporate credit solutions. Wong has over 20 years of experience in various capacities within middle market lending, broadly syndicated leveraged loans, high yield bonds, financial sponsors coverage and mezzanine investing, mainly as a generalist across industry sectors.
Before joining °µÍø³Ô¹Ï, Wong was head of Barclays Capital’s leveraged finance natural resources credit team and managed an approximate $7 billion portfolio. While at Barclays, he also co-managed the industrials credit portfolio for several years. Prior to joining Barclays, he was a vice president in the acquisition finance group at Bear Stearns, primarily focusing on providing capital commitments to support the firm’s financial sponsors clients. Wong began his career in associate and analyst roles in the financial sponsors and high yield finance/mezzanine investments team at CIBC World Markets and FleetBoston Financial, respectively. He was formally credit trained at Chase’s Investment Banking Training Program.
Wong earned a bachelor’s degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
